hey folks.
I am looking for some suggestions on how what to do with an existing pool that had some issues lately. Short story is, I have one pool setup with 2 drives that hosts some VM's on my esxi box via iSCSI. One of the drives went degraded and has started to slowly die.
I bought 2 replacement drives, same size and speed....RED drives.
At this point, my lack of experience with FreeNAS, I am not sure what would be the best course of action to take. I was hoping for folks here to give me some suggestions on how to proceed.
Do I extend the pool?
Create a new pool and move over the data?
Still need to physically identify which drive is going bad (just not a lot of time lately).
That is kind of where I am at and looking for some help.
Much obliged.
Cheers,
TCG
