Question about migrating disks and re-mounting NFS share for VMware storage.

In my home lab, I have ESXi running on an HP machine and then TrueNAS loaded onto an old Optiplex running an NFS share for the the datastore in ESXi.

TrueNAS is 256 GB SSD for the system, 2x 1TB HDD RAID 1 for that NFS share.

I want to upgrade to a better motherboard with (2) m.2 slots for RAID 1 on the system and move to a RAID 5 after migrating disks.

Is it possible to just move the system drive over without reinstalling?

My other question is a little bit more VMware related - If I end up having to reinstall TrueNAS, could I mimic the IP address, NFS share permissions, key, passwords, etc. and avoid re-mounting the share and re-registering VMs?

Any other insight on migrating the disks containing the datastore is much appreciated.
