Question about FreeNAS and AD

Hi guys,

I recently joined the FreeNAS community and I've been searching for like 1 month how to do something without any success...

So here's the issue :
The FreeNAS is correctly connected to the AD, I know it because I can see the users from Domain/Users.

The thing is, the AD in the company I'm working has a lot of users per Site, so it's structured like Domain/Site/<SiteName>, and these users are not displayed.

Does someone already had this 'issue' or know how could I do?

I'm running the FreeNAS-11.3-U5 version.

Thanks in advance,
Theo.

Does getent passwd "DOMAIN\username" work for these users? (I.e. is it just a GUI issue)

Hi anodos, I didn't thought it just could be a GUI issue, but yes the command returns something for existing UN in the AD !
Furthermore I tried to edit permission with format DOMAIN\UNXXXXXX and I can see all the users in the scroll menu :)

Thanks a lot !!
