Just kind of a vent post...
I run a slim form factor Dell Optiplex with a slim QLogic card to a Dell fiber array. Never had to do anything besides plug everything in and it worked splendidly. I saw that openvpn worked a bit better on 12.0 versus 11.3. So I decided to go for it. Obviously none of my disks were recognized once it came back up because apparently fiber isn't supported in core...
any chance that's ever coming back or am I infinitely stuck with where i'm at?
was able to reinstall 11.3 and import everything back but I'm pretty bummed.
