I have 4 1.5T Samsung drives (HD154UI).
When I build the raidz1 volume all the drives were set to always on. In order to avoid wear and heat I set them all to 20 minutes to stand by.

Last night I wanted to watch a video stored on the NAS and after a timeout period my video player tells me that there was a problem. I go and check the pool status and I have read/write errors on 3 out of the 4 drives. I try the video again and it starts and plays with no issues. Scrubbed the pool over night and it comes clean with no errors.

So at this point I think that the system didn't wait for the drives to spin up and it read some junk determining that the data is corrupted.

Anybody else had this kind of issue?
