I think I figured it out!

Is someone willing to volunteer?

What I need you to do is setup a virtualized instance of TrueNAS, using a cheap "SATA multiport" card, with only 8GiB of available memory, and a RAIDZ1 vdev of 12 used laptop drives that you purchased from a shady seller on eBay. Make sure to mention it's a "gaming" motherboard with a built-in Realtek network card.

Start a new topic about how "TrueNAS sucks and runs really slow", while providing those specs.

Then the next day reply in your own thread that you've read @jgreco's guides about HBAs, virtualization, and ZFS requirements. This inspired you to build yourself a new non-virtualized system using a server motherboard, with 128 GiB ECC RAM, an Intel NIC, an HBA flashed to IT mode, with a pool of mirrored vdevs comprised of WD Red Plus CMR drives.

If that doesn't reward you with a "thumbs up" from @jgreco, then I'm all out of ideas...

Should you use TrueNAS or just bite the bullet and install a real OS? Basic answer/claim. If you are competent sysadmin, it will be faster and less frustrating to setup a real OS from scratch than TrueNAS. Experience. You spend a considerable amount of time clunking around TrueNAS's awkward...

I could never tell if the reaction score was useful other than occasional juvenile stuff; I don't know that we'll ever get to the famous calculator numbers like 80085. It seems something more like a reaction percentage would be meaningful.

@WI_Hedgehog is 69/200 for a rxn% of 34.5.

There is a "Prolific posters" section under the Members section:

@DanB is 5,258/13,975 for a rxn% of 37.6.
@Chris Moore is 3,301/10,075 for a rxn% of 32.8.
@anodos is 2,507/9,014 for a rxn% of 27.8.
@SweetAndLow is 1,072/6,416 for a rxn% of 16.7.
@Joshua Parker Ruehlig is 561/5,946 for a rxn% 0f 9.43.

There used to be a points scoring system as well, but basically it tops out really fast at 161.

The Points Scoring System is accessible via the Admin panel, so even Super Moderators haven't access. It can be customized, but doing so triggers a raft of side-effects. (Kind of like the Office Points Scoreboard, where fraternization can trigger a raft of unexpected side-effects.)

Prolific Posters might be set as a Staff tool, at minimum my account can't seem to access it. (and who am I to talk about the staff's tools...even on Friday)

That's weird, the members link, previously removed from sight for reasons I never fully understood (despite the underlying XenForo functionality being untouched at /members/), is back for mods but not for regular users. Even weirder, permissions are set to hide most of the banner statistics for regular users
