Hello, I cloned a dataset and clicked the new button promote dataset, that was not my intent, now I have a clone dataset that I can't delete because is bound to the main dataset:

cannot destroy 'vol0/jails/madsonic_2-auto-20171218.1000-1m-clone': filesystem has dependent clones use '-R' to destroy the following datasets: vol0/jails/madsonic_2

I tried to call the "zfs destroy -R" bue that says that my main dataset is busy, it seams that it will delete it. How can I delete the clone dataset without losing my pool?

Thank you

You can promote the old dataset to invert the relationship and be able to delete the new one.
