I have the following problem
I must create 10 windows (cifs) shares (with only 1 hd..then i think only 1 volume), so that 10 different pc, maps each one only one of these shares.
is possible to do this?
or it's possible with only 1 hd to create more then 1 volume?
thanks
claudio

Yes that shouldn't be an issue. What is the point of a setup like this if I may ask?

every pc (used by a student) has to have a personal folder on the nas (mapped on his pc)
and each student should not see the the contents of other shares
Thanks
Claudio
...I forgot, the teacher must see all the folders

That sounds like you need to look into home directories. This kind of setup is supported by CIFS out of the box.

I have solved with more zfs datasets.. but now i have a problem with webgui....
When the nas is placed at his final destination, at the power up the web gui don'work.
The Ip adress is correct every pc ping the nas and the nas ping the pc but when the nas ip adress is inserted into a browser "Unable to connect at 192.168.0.145"
I'm pretty sure that doing a "reset to factory dafault" all work properly but all my data and configuration????
Thanks
Claudio
