Hi community,
I recently updated to 8.3.1 but I had that problem with 8.3.0 too.
I am running a FreeNAS with 5 HDs and one CF card. FreeNAS is on the CF.
My problem is as topic says that when I boot or reboot my NAS the smartd service is not started properly. I have following entries in my log:
/dev/ada0 is the CF card...
When I then look into the services smart is marked as if it is started but ps tells me it is not. I have to "stop" it in services and then start it there again but then there is no error and it is starting...
What can I do about this?
I really want my system to be fully functional after a shutdown in case of power loss and the UPS going on low batt and repower.
Regards,
Alexander
