Possible to put multiple interfaces in same subnet?

I'm attempting to set up an iSCSI FreeNAS box for use by our VMware ESX servers. I'd like to effectively replicate the setup from this screenshot: http://media.community.dell.com/en/dtc/az4v5ynmpwv5gmgm0fmyea69930.png as I have largely the same setup (two nics in the ESX servers dedicated to storage, 4 nics in the FreeNAS server, two switches). However, I can't seem to assign two interfaces in the same subnet to different interfaces on the FreeNAS. The only way around this I can think of to get the redundancy/MPIO I want is to create two more VMkernel vSwitches, but that seems a bit messy in the networking on the ESX side. Do any brilliant FreeNAS users have a potential solution for me?

Thanks!

On each vSwitch in ESX, add another vmKernel and give it the IP of the iSCSI subnet you want it to connect on.

That's what I ended up doing, I was just hoping there was something a little more elegant than making a vmKernel for every iSCSI target. Works great!
