I've had this FreeNAS server running for a while. I recently upgraded my pool to 2 WD Blue 1 TB drives, yes I know Red are best but this is what I could get my hands on. I was telling Windows to backup to a folder in vol1/users/backups. After that, I got the error posted above. I quickly ensured nothing on the NAS was critical and proceeded to test my vol1/users dataset as that is the region in which it appears is the corruption since it does not specify a file but what ever that is. Nothing in this dataset was any different from what it was before and everything was accessible without a problem, I moved files around. All nine yards. Everything was working as expected. However, this did give me a bit of a scare and I am wondering if there are any good cheap off-site backup solutions in which anyone might suggest me implementing.I saw in other threads were the CKSUM errors when corruption occurred was in the thousands. Based on that I'm not sure if this is something I should worry about and would appreciate any advice I could get. Thanks for reading, I could use any advice you've got.

If there is any extra info you guys need I should be here for the next hour off and on.

It looks like you have a corrupt snapshot. Did you burn in the drives before you put them in service? Do you have long and short smart tests set up on the drives?

Post the output of smartctl -a /dev/da0 and replace da0 with your drive numbers.

I did not burn the drives. I am unaware of what that refers to. I do have long and short SMART tests. Daily short and weekly long.
