Pool with different size discs

Since you can't expand a raidz pool with more discs I was thinking that I could use
4x4TB and 2x2TB as a start and later on get 2 more 4 Tb drives. I know this is possible in ZFS, but is it possible in FreeNAS?

I know that I will be limited to 6x2 TB until the last drive is installed.

Possible, but not recommended. Note that you will have to use the Manual Setup button of Volume Manager: http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_storage.html#manual-setup.
