Plex Won't Update Metadata On Media

Running FreeNAS 11.2 and have a problem in Plex. I see and can access all my media (movies and TV shows, and music albums), Problem is that none of the metadata is brought in to update all the titles, cover art, etc. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you install Plex as a plug-in or using iocage commands? Are you able to ping the internet from within the Plex jail?

That is the post I found a while ago and post #16 has solved the problem.
The only issue I am now having is in the Music folder. It comes up with the Artist and album songs but it will not give metadata for the album names.
I will go back to that in the morning as at midnight I am exhausted.

i think its related to the jail not seeing out to the WAN properly. im no expert but try looking at my post? have you setup a static ip or is it still DHCP?

It is static IP. I have never been a fan of DHCP. The only thing I run DHCP is mobile devices in the home. Even then, most but not all have IP's assigned in my router based on their MAC address. I will take a look at the link you provided.
