Hi Everyone,

I've been trying out Plex which is good fun so far. I'm not been able to play MKVs as of yet but it's early days I haven't configured PLEX fully.

My question is about..

http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Unsupported_plugins

..unsupported plugins. Is there anyway to get any of these into the FreeNAS PLEX? I'd like Demand 5.

Thanks,

EA

Hi Everyone,

I've placed the unsupported appstore bundle into my PLEX.

mv /mnt/YourFreeNASNameHere/UnSupportedAppstore.bundle /mnt/YourFreeNASNameHere/jails/plex_1/usr/pbi/plexmediaserver-amd64/plexdata/'Plex Media Server'/Plug-ins/

The bundle shows up under channels but won't start. I can select it under video channels. I'm quite new to PLEX but this looks interesting. I've enabled debugging.

I've also think I've found the location to add unsupported DLNA Profiles.

/jails/plex_1/usr/pbi/plexmediaserver-amd64/share/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles

It's only a start but it looks interesting. I'd like to see what this does out of curiosity more than anything.

Hallo i had some problems installing LetMeWatchIt Bundle on my FreeNas PMS.
Thanks to your dir path i know were to put my bundle so thanks for that.
Now it works fine until i came to the movie itself that did not play.
After some changes in the menu of my PMS i got it to work so i like to share with you maybe it will help any one.
In settings i uncheckt Play without Transcoding ( Settings/Plex & Web and advance settings ) and i enabled direct stream.
This together with the SSH upload (letmewhatsit.bundel) to the directory from user Evilandy was the trick.
Evilandy Thanks for your Directions and i hope i helpt you to.
P.s. i did not do anything in the DLNA profile.
