Plex Transcoding Single Core

Hi all,

I read somewhere that a certain component used for MKV transcoding does not benefit of all the cores due to licensing. I can't seem to find this statement any more.

I looked all over the net to find others who claim the same but didn't find any.

Is there actually someone who can confirm this?

Seems unlikely to me. According to Wikipedia, "The Matroska project is a royalty-free open standard which is free to use and the technical specifications are available for private and commercial use."
