Anyone else having this issue? I dont think it's a freenas problem.

I tried creating multiple Jails with a plugin, installing it manually into a jail, I even tried an ubuntu docker image and after logging into http://[local_ip]:32400, I get the typical plex screens, but it just says "Searching for servers" in the top left.

I cant get the darn thing to know that it's a server. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you stopped/started the Plex jail? That's happened to me a few times. And I'll assume it is pointing to the correct IP address. I re-installed Plex a few times (for different problems) where it created its own jail. The IP address would change doing it that way. Finally made it a static IP. Solved the problem.

I have always "allowed" the plugin to create its own jail. I tried installing "into" a couple of times with no luck.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I really appreciate the feedback. I have tried both of those suggestion, but i dont think the issue is anything so simple. I have started/stopped the service, restarted the jail, reinstalled using pkg instead of a plugin, I even tried it on my ubuntu docker host on another machine which had the exact same result.

I was about to buy a plex pass too, I have been using plex for quite some time. I have setup emby and I have most everything working with SSL certs and my freenas libraries. Looks like I might just have to use them instead.
