I have had my Plex running for a couple years and am running TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1 with Plex plugging 11.3 with no issue until about a three weeks ago.
What happens is Plex no longer sees my share until I restart the plugin . When checking TrueNas was I see this the attached file .
Which leads me to believe something is failing on the swap ..

I see on the following post where it was more than likely swap ( and the error attached )
But this user didn't have swaps set I do ( see out put below ).
Welcome to FreeNAS

Warning: settings changed through the CLI are not written to
the configuration database and will be reset on reboot.

root@freenas[~]# gpart show
=> 40 125045344 ada0 GPT (60G)
40 1024 1 freebsd-boot (512K)
1064 33554432 3 freebsd-swap (16G)
33555496 91488256 2 freebsd-zfs (44G)
125043752 1632 - free - (816K)

=> 40 3907029088 ada1 GPT (1.8T)
40 88 - free - (44K)
128 4194304 1 freebsd-swap (2.0G)
4194432 3902834696 2 freebsd-zfs (1.8T)

I manually updagrade Plex to the latest and Trues Nas is current . Nothing else has really changed
Thanks for any help and direction ,
John

I don't know if it matters ..but what version of jail(s) are you running? I'm on 13.1-RELEASE-p1 with no issues

Version 1.28.2.6106 of Plex

Only time I have issues with Plex is when I have PBO and/or CPB enabled on my 3900x/X470D4U

I tired iocage upgrade <jail_name> -r no luck :(
there's an update button in the GUI that updates your jail to the latest on whatever version you have .. IF you are running 12 something .. then it will only update to 12. whatever

To Update to say 13 . .then you have to go into the main shell (not the jail) and type

Code:
iocage upgrade -r 13.1-RELEASE WhateverYourJailNameIs

are you running a plugin or a manual install? If the Plex plugin .. then you are stuck on whatever version of the jail the plugin is

That is why I switched to a manual install quite awhile ago .. all around easier to keep up to date with both Plex and the jail itself
