Hello. Just curious if anyone has experienced the following issue.
For the last few months I've been trying to debug a problem where my VoiP adapter fails to answer incoming calls. Also, my ASUS loses internet connection. I believe I've finally determined the cause (at least at a high-level).
When I have the Plex Media Server plug-in enabled I get the following messages logged by router:
"miniupnpd[696]: sendto(udp): Operation not permitted"
This is accompanied by eventual VoIP adapter failure and router crash. If I disable the plug-in the problem doesn't occur.
Now what I'm trying to determine if this is problem with my router, FreeNAS, or Plex. I don't believe this is a problem with the router as I experienced the exact same issue with my previous router, which was a Netgear WND3700.
Anyone have any ideas?
