plex not detecting nvidia GPU

hello all, i dont know what is going on but all of a sudden after an upgrade to plex my gpu is no longer listed in the menu.

not sure how to fix it but it just says 0 nvidia gpu to allocate in the menu for plex
all using bluecharts

I have the same situation with a p2000. have you managed to fix the issue?

yes, all you need to do is remove gpu suppoirt from kubernites settings and then put it back and it recognizes it again.

no in the advanced settings of the apps in general.

not yet done. I think I'm missing something:

the driver seems ok. the gpu is on.
I enabled and disabled the GPU support in k8s

the problem is I can't see it in plex. all GPU entries are 0. I start the app and force a transcode, then my CPU goes to the roof => the GPU is not used!
there is a setting I miss. But I can't find which.

@nikkon Did you set the nvidia gpu value to 1? In your screenshot it shows 0.

I did. It required a restart to actually use it. not it works, with the setting you suggested and restart it works

is it still ok if you restart truenas ?
On my side, stop working after each restart.

I just did a new check. restarted and checked - it seems to work nice

in my case, plex stop use the gpu after each reboot of the NAS
