Plex Media Server Update Fails

I've been using the Plex Media Server plugin without problems until yesterday.

The "plugins" section in the GUI is reporting that an update is available.

When clicking "update" the process proceeds in the usual way, but on nearing completion I get a vague "Something went wrong" message. Thereafter, the plugin is off and my storage for the jail has been unmounted.

Once remounting the storage and restarting the plugin I can continue to use the old version without issue.

I'm currently running Plexmediaserver 0.9.12.11.1406 from the PBI plexmediaserver-0.9.12.11.1406-amd6.

I'd be very grateful for any pointer as to how to overcome this.

someone else reported the same issue recently. you can use a script to update plex. I'm sure you can find a thread about it of you search. or you can do what I say here
