Hi.

Is there a way to add Network drives to plex?
I have one server running while my brother is running another.
The Plex server is running on my server. and i have access to his media via CIFS and NFS

is there anyway to access his media via plex?

Why not share via plex? That's the simplest way.

Otherwise, in your Plex jail, add a mount point in /etc/fstab

As a very solid rule you should not be sharing the same files over CIFS AND NFS simultaneously. File corruption can result.

The Shares is not in the same folders.

I have used a NFS share directly on FreeNAS and mounted that in jail. every share is in a separate folder. and it works like a charm.
Also speed is great. i have 60/60 and my Brother 25/25

You are better off using Plex in a jail and adding storage from your zpool to the jail vice using CIFS/NFS. Performance of the server will often be much improved and you prevent potential situations where there are lots of open file handles as Samba/nfsd has to use resources to track Plex going through all the directories quickly.

If you're worried about "sh*t going wrong" and your stuff being deleted, simply make the mountpoint readonly (that's what I do).

Just some free advice. ;)

Plex definitely works fine accessing media over NFS. It will be less efficient than running it locally, as @cyberjock suggests, but it works fine and is more efficient than not having access to the media.
