Plex "Looking for servers"

I've tried a zillion guides, I have tried installing both Plex and PlexPass plugin jails, I am at my bl**dy wits ends with trying to get Plex working on 11.2

How to install this and NOT get a constant "Looking for servers" on the Web UI.

This was WORKING for me on on 11.1. I made the mistake of updating to 11.2 and now I can't run Plex.

Can someone PLEASE advise what is the solution to this.

I am logged into Plex, my jail has full network connectivity, it does not work no matter what I try.

Yes, set allowedNetworks properly in Preferences.xml

I used dotted netmask not CIDR and comma separated multiple networks.

i had the same problem but fixed it by deleting my old jail dataset and the new iocage dataset. Then reinstalling.

So you deleted the entire old, Warden jail as well as the iocage dataset where plex is kept?

I was having the same issue. My resolution was to try the setup from home instead of through VPN from work. For me, I didn't need to set the allowedNetworks in Preferences.xml .
