Plex is reporting errors on security log.

Does anyone else have these issues with plex? My security log is reporting errors.

Right. So, this is kind of a well-known thing. The exits with signal 11 were a known bug on the FreeBSD implementation of Plex. The latest Plex in the ports tree (and I presume, in packages) has this fixed, I can confirm. If you are running the "plugin", then you are at the mercy of whenever they update the plugins or whatever. I myself do not use the plugin (I install from ports), so I have updated with the most recent update.

Good news is this: Those "errors" are not in any way problematic, and should not impact the performance of your system, and represent no security or other threat.

really? You are getting Plex Scanner signal 11's? With the most up-to-date plex?

I wish I were lying. Doesn't happen as much but it still happens. Last one was a little over a week ago.

I updated to 1.4.3.3433 and no longer see the 'exited on signal 11'.
