Plex deploying snag

I recently upgraded to Bluefin and noticed that Plex seems to hang on "deploying." I configured this system the same way as my prior service, which worked fine.

Other services work fine, and I really like the GUI updates.

Any thoughts? Many thanks for considering my request.

You have done something wrong

Or

You have fallen foul of the NFS & SMB share issue - maybe

Understood. I will do a fresh reinstall and just use the TrueNAS Scale docs as a guide.

Yes, the SMB share issue still gets me! I just dinked around with my setup baffled as to why an app wouldn't deploy, and it was because an SMB share was active. We need this to be reverted!

I literally stopped lurking, registered an account, and needed to post a reply to thank you. This gave me heart palpatations for a couple hours until I stumbled on your comment. I had a reboot and the SMB share service was active (with no registered shares mind you), and disabling that got all my Apps "stuck in Deploying" to finally deploy correctly again.

Much love to you

NP! It's still a minor annoyance to have to switch the shares on/off when needed.
