Please update to the latest ASPEED VGA driver in your OS, before updating the IPMI firmware

Has anybody updated the firmware of the BMC of their Supermicro X11SSM-F motherboard to the newly-released revision 1.56?
An important note reads: "Please update to the latest ASPEED VGA driver in your OS, before updating the IPMI firmware".
Should I update or not? What would you do? Thanks.

Hi! No, I haven't updated because I don't know how to verify if the ASPEED VGA driver on FreeNAS is up to date. Do you happen to know?

I updated my BMC firmware yesterday on my X10SL7-F and got that same warning message. I just clicked through it and updated anyway and everything is working fine.
