Hi all,
This is my first ever freenas install, and also the post.
I have a new machine
Hostname freenas.local
FreeNAS Build FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p2-x86 (11367)
Platform AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
Memory 1906MB
System Time Wed May 23 19:43:29 2012
Uptime 7:43PM up 12:29, 0 users
Load Average 0.00, 0.02, 0.00
OS Version FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p7
I am playing around to learn it, so I created a CIFS share, and loaded it with a blueray 11GIG movie. My net can play it with no problem, but when I use fast forward or trying to jump to a specific frame, it can take from 5 seconds to ever until the movie continues. (tried with Windows movie player and VLC 2 - using W7E 64Bit)
anyone knows this weird behaviour?
btw, my volume is 3 2TB disks , RaidZ1
