Plans for next minor update?

Hi all,

with the urgent U1.1 out of the door, what are the plans with respect to the other queued fixes? I personally have two issues that are quite annoying:

• email via unauthenticated SMTP is still not possible: https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-108665
• SMBv1 crashes smbd: https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-108605

You have of course my full sympathy for fixing the data corruption issue first. Just want to know if there is an ETA, yet. E.g. the SMB issue keeps me from further experimenting with TrueNAS Scale - without SMBv1 I cannot install my Supermicro system via virtual media.

TrueNAS SCALE should not have any issues related to SMB1.

without SMBv1 I cannot install my Supermicro system via virtual media.

On my SuperMicro X10 motherboard, I use the Supermicro JAVA iKVM to mount an ISO image as virtual media without SMB.
The HTML5 and the Java iKVM do not have exactly the same features.

To launch the JAVA iKVM console, go to System then click on the remote console preview image.

Does anyone know if any Supermicro boards support remote media over the HTML5 iKVM? The Java one can be a serious pain, and I haven't seen the feature in any of the boards I work with (X10 and X11 Xeon E3, X11 Xeon Scalable).

It's slow, but it works reasonably well apart from that.
