When updating pkg (in Jail fpr POlexPass-Server), the update stops and displays this message:

Code:
root@PlexPass-Server:/ # pkg update

Allow missmatch now?[Y/n]:

Seems, that I need to update something before running pkg update. What shall I do? Thanks for help!

Rebuild the jail using iocage. Warden jails are based on FreeBSD 11.0 which is EOL and no longer supported.

Hmmm... I suspect OP is running the FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE train, based on FreeBSD 10.3, and 10.3 was EOL'ed on April 30, 2018

FreeNAS 9.10 doesn't come with iocage. :(

For the jails that I'm running, I "allowed the mismatch" and haven't seen any adverse effects or incompatibilities so far.

Thank you, @Jailer and @Jurgen Segaert.

Yes, system is running the FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE train, based on FreeBSD 10.3, that is right.

Would the problem be solved when switching to FreeNAS 11 Stable? Other problems to be expected instead? ;-)

So far being the operative word here. You will likely run into dependency or compatibility issues at some point.

You would still need to rebuild those jails as the current ones would still be EOL.
