I've noticed that once a drive is assigned an ado dev path it retains that device node no matter how the cables are re-ordered. This happened because I booted once with the drives connected in the wrong order, but when I fixed it, they still show up the same way. I like my boot drives on ada0 and ada1 and then the ZILs as ada2,3, 4, and 5. Yes I know it makes no difference in how FreeNAS works, but I have OCD when it comes to things like this. Is there a way to force it to see the drives as "new" again and thus order them logically the way it should?
