PERC With No "HBA Mode" Available

Hello,

I would like to know what is the "FreeNAS" recommendation when it is not possible to just present the disks to FreeNAS (no HBA Mode or JBOD or non-RAID options available in the PERC).

I'm trying to expand our FreeNAS instance so I'm connecting our server to a storage device using a "PERC H810", which doesn't have any of these options available for disks.

I know that we shouldn't combine Hardware and Software RAID, so any recommendations would help.

Sell the HW RAID card, buy an HBA.
