PERC H330 and ZFS

I've found a couple threads on the subject but wanted to be 100% sure. Is the Perc H330 better used in ZFS crossflashed to IT mode instead of using the HBA feature of the controller? The answers I found recommends using mrsas instead of mfi but not sure the exact way to get this working properly. I will be moving hosts to this new server/PERC and want to avoid as much downtime as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
