I am about a week away from ordering all this stuff so I would pass this build by the forum one final time
My use case is currently thus: it’s primarily going to be used as a file and media server, for 1-2 users. Ideally it would last me several years, and I expect data to grow at about 500-1000 GB/Year

A specific I have doubt concerns the LSI 3008 controller. I have heard that there is issues with the driver for FreeBSD. The reason why I tentatively wish to purchase this board is due to the relative difficulty of coming by cards for additional connectivity in my region of the world, should I desire expansion.
How problematic is the new LSI 3008 controller? Of course I plan to use crossflashed to IT mode, if I choose to use.it. I read In another thread that there has been a rencent firmware update,does anyone know how it panned out?
Bonus question: any input on the power supplies would be appreciated.
