Partial AD sync

using 9.3 stable 201509282017
setup AD connection. Weird thing is it only pulls over 3 users -administrator, guest, krbtgt, and 11 of the default groups. I'm thinking it's AD related as a similar system in my lab pulls over everything from my DC.

Any Ideas??

Were you able to figure this out? If not, does upgrading to the latest SU make a difference?

Performed the update, for some reason the domain controller service turned on. Turning it off, and attempting to save the AD setup screen results in a message "unable to start service".

Anything in /var/log/messages?

Do you get any errors when you run the commands in http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_directoryservice.html#if-the-system-will-not-join-the-domain?

There are lots of messages in the message log. I turned on the domain controller service, and just the same few users and groups show up in wbinfo. With the DC service turned off, it can't seem to start the winbind service.
