Hello,

I will start by saying i am a home user, with a so far basic+ interaction to FreeNAS for few years now so please be patience with me. ;-)
FreeNAS 11.2-U7
  • Motherboard - Asus gryphone z87
  • CPU - intel i5-4670k
  • RAM - 32GB
  • Hard drives - 12 , model - Seagate ST500LT032, raidz2
  • LSI SAS 2308 - sas to sata x8 drives + 4 drives to matherboard
  • Network cards - Motherboard only
  • 2 Mirrored USB mirrored
Got back from work one day to see the attached error.
please help me figure out how to import my dataset - i am OK with it having some errors as most of it is media content i can easily gain again.

Online solutions mainly referred to many many different read-only import options - that i would really prefer to avoid,
but if it is my only solution please help me figure out what is the best import flags to do so.

p.s.
Following few threads - i have tried to create a new USB boot and import the pool but same error appeared.

thank you in advance

Hmmm... That looks like a hardware error. Have you tried reseating the HBA and SATA cables?

Thank you for your help, found the solution on the ZFS GIT on issue that was closed:

i Followed behlendorf sulotion - and it saved my data!!!
For noobs like me, the way to do so is running from FreeNAS shell the command
sysctl vfs.zfs.zil_replay_disable=1

How did you reach a FreeNAS shell? It is stuck while booting. Did you physically disconnect the drives and started FreeNAS to run the command?
I face exactly the same problem as you did.

Thanks in advance
