Would it be possible to create a "panic button" for periodic snapshot tasks? While the panic button is activated, freenas will not destroy any periodic snapshots, regardless of the snapshot's age.
This can be useful if you are about to take down your server for extended maintenance, and don't want all you snapshots instantaneously destroyed when restarting the server (Particularly, destroying ALL snapshots can break replication, AFAIK).
Also, if there is any hardware malfunction, or anything, I would like to be able to tell my freenas to just hang on to my snapshots for a little while, just in case.
Kind regards,

PS: If think it is a good idea, just give me a nudge or something, and I can create a ticket.
