Hi Everyone,
I wanted to Speed up my Network Connection between my Nas and my main machine so i got old Dual Port IB Cards back home from work.
When insert one into my Nas (Freenas 10, Core i3-2100, 8GB ECC Ram, Supermicro X9SCM, USB Flash drive for Boot, 2*512 Gb SSD Mirror, 4*4TB HDD RaidZ2) i get the following error:
I don't know much about BSD but from my understanding either the Kernel module breaks something or something goes wrong with the DMA Access of the Controller.
Or is it that my USB Drive has got a bad sector which just matters if this Module is loaded. After i removed the IB Card it worked as usual.
Is there a way to get the System to boot and fix that issue later?
Is it important to know the specific Typ of that Card. We have a pile of them laying around at work since we are moving to QDR and i just grabbed two.
Thanks
Bimini
