Operation not permitted

So I am having an issue changing any permissions on files mounted to my ZFS volume, /mnt/v01. Anytime I try to do a chmod I get a Operation not permitted error. Anyone know how I can fix this. Can I run a command or modify anything to reset these permissions to the way they were originally? Not sure why this happened. I was using Windows permissions but even switched back to Unix and have the same issue.

Think I may have just solved my own issue :) I detached the volume and re-imported it. Now I can make chmod changes to the volume again..
