OpenVPN working. Home Assistant Core Jail does not.

I followed the following tutorials to set up OpenVPN.

The VPN portion is working properly. I can now access all devices inside the network from the outside. Unfortunately the natd tunables seem to have broken my home assistant instance.

If I disable to the natd_enable tunable, Home assistant works properly, but I can't access other services through the vpn.

Current configuration screenshots are below. Other information:
Router (DHCP server) 192.168.0.1
Truenas Server: 192.168.0.101
OpenVPN IP: 192.168.1.0

In several comments on the videos, it was stated that new jails would work properly with the new natd settings. However, my concern is creating a new jail, and keeping my current home assistant configuration.

So I'm asking how can I:
1. Get the current Home Assistant instance working...
OR
2. Migrate the Home assistant plugin/jail to a new one that may work with the natd settings.

ANY assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks!
