ONE CIFS share is visible in Win 8.1, another is not. Need help...

I have set u two CIFS shares. One is visible on Windows PC another is not. I am pulling my hair out.
I attached few captures with the setup. The "public" share is on external USB drive. It is mounted under "/mnt/ftp/public". That one is visible and works. The "NAS" share is mounted under "/mnt/NAS6/NAS". That one does not show on windows machine.

Capture4.jpg is the windows machine file explorer view. By the way, where "root" and "homes" folder come from?

Cyberjock, Thank you for very helpful hint. When it did not work I google the problem and tried things that other people suggested.
This was result. It did not stop working because of the permissions at the first place. I am new to FreeNAS and Linux, this is my learning curve...

Anyway, I fixed it after I reinstalled 9.3.
