So I was attempting to install trueNas scale on a USB drive and managed to install it on my main storage array, two 900gb sas drives. After playing with it that way for a few days while I tried to get it to install on various internal drives, I finally just ordered two 72gb sas drives to use. Now I want to use the original 900gb drives as my main storage, but they aren't showing in the GUI. My understanding, from searching, is that they won't show up if the have data on them already.

So my question is, how do I go about finding these drives and wiping them so they can be used.

For reference I have an hp proliant dl360 g7, 48gb ram, dual L5640 2.26ghz, and a p410i controller.

Write now I have both drives set up as individual raid 0 logical drives, which I'm told should work even if it's not best practice. Still not able to find the drives with the GUI. When the os was originally installed on them they showed up just fine.
