I have an old 500GB IDE hard drive Seagate ST3500630A that i installed as extra storage,
I am using a IDE to sata adapter,
I connected it but when i log into freenas, it's not under "Disks" area or not seen even in the "Pools" area
i tried another IDE hard drive and same thing, is it my adapter? or are IDE hard drives not supported on freenas
I wanted to get good use my IDE drives until their death, since it's just sitting around collecting dust
is there a way to get IDE drives to work in freenas?
