I have FreeNAS with one HDD. HDD is nearly full.
I plan to add 2xHDD 6GB as RAID1 And make backup instead of pay for online backup (I hope it will be possible, to use instead of online backup).
I plan to clean install TrueNAS. Actual installation was for testing purpose.
Then I plan to make RAID1 and setup backup.
I want also add existing HDD to new installation is possible to just add old HDD without loosing data? Or need be formatted?
