Hello,
I use ESXi with Truenas 12-U8 as VM.
I installed an Intel P4510. The SSD is connected via M.2 adapter and passed through to the TrueNAS VM via passthrough.
I have already installed the latest firmware VDV10184 on the SSD and set 'pcipassthru#.msiEnabled = FALSE' in the vmx file.
Unfortunately I still get the error 'nvme0 missing interrupt' when starting the TrueNAS VM.
There is supposed to be a solution at the following link, but I can't access it.
https://redmine.ixsystems.com/issues/26508#note-62

Can someone give me a tip how to get the SSD working?

Solved: Was an ESXi problem!

Firmware update for Intel NVMe SSDs highly recommended, still. Intel publishes bootable ISO images that upgrade the firmware of all connected SSDs automatically. Works fairly well and made a lot of "lost interrupt" problems go away for us in plain FreeBSD.

Yes, it works really fine.
Yesterday I made an update on my two Intel SSDs. It's very easy, but in my case it didn't slove the problem.
But it is also good to update the firmware!
