Hey Guys,
So I've watched the slideshow and read through all the documentation I can find, but just wanted clarification of 1 thing.
I'm looking to setup a vdev with 8 drives in raidZ2, and then in future expand with a second vdev with another 8 drives in raidz2 (when required, could be years away).
This is for a home setup, while I wouldn't like to lose any data, this isn't a production working environment either.
I read somewhere, I can't remember where now, but there was a 'recommended limit' of the number of drives in a single vdev. Would 8 be a good number? Or is it too high? Even for a non-mission critical application such as my own.
