A posted a while back about the jet engines that shipped with my Norco 4224. They recently drove me temporarily insane so I ordered some 120mm Koolance fans with the same static pressure rating at 2200RPM. I am happy to report that the overall change is about +1 degree and a greatly reduced noise level. I was concerned that the 120mm fans wouldn't give me the cooling I required but they seem to be working well. The case has 10 7200rpm drives in it so it still isn't even at half capacity - I might have issues when I get more drives but that won't be for a while.
