I have successfully pooled two 1TB 2.5"drives, but my 6TB drives will not pool.
Tried several times, no luck.

Make sure your 6TB drives don't have any partitions on them. What does gpart show ada1 and gpart show ada3 show? If any partitions are shown, then run gpart destroy -F ada1 and likewise for ada3.

Where do I type in "gpart destroy -F ada1"

I seated the data cable a couple times b/c one drive was intermittently disappearing from the DISK list.
I got it to work and pool with the other same exact drive.
Now what? How do I setup using them (dump data onto them).

I found a video about the datasets.
BUT, TrueNAS has degraded one of the two pooled drives (in both pools), so I unplugged all the drives, reseated them, and reinstalled TrueNAS. I destroyed the partitions and will try again.

...Reinstalled TrueNAS, formatting the boot disk, a 107GB SSD.
On reboot, system is stuck at uhub7:<AMD OHCI root HUB, class 9/0, rev 3.00/1.00, addr1> on usbus3
I still have the monitor, mouse, and keyboard attached.

Reloaded, changed cables around... maybe one 3wasn't working BUT now the system is up. 6TB pooled fine, but one of the 1TB did not. Tried deleting with Shell commands (above), but only worked when wiped via one of the Storage screens.
Question I have is, "Can I attach ONE HDD just to have it online (not pooled or striped).
