No Networking in VM after Update to 11.1

Hi,

after i updated Freenas from 11.0-U4 to 11.1-RELEASE i get no network connection within my VM. If i go back to 11.0-U4 everything works fine.
Devices and configuration are the same in both cases. I already tried to delete the VM and create a new one on 11.1.

Can someone please help me?

Can you provide us more details about your setup? Hardware, configuration?

When you say VM, what do you mean? Does networking work in FreeNAS? Can you access shares?

I just started messing around with FreeNAS again, and I'm trying to setup the Docker VM and I had no network connection as well. I have three network interfaces: em0, docker-sys and docker0; the latter two have 172.x.x.x IPs but are down, em0 is up but has no IP. Once I assigned an IP via ip addr add 192.168.1.5/24 dev em0 I was able to ping the FreeNAS NIC and vice versa, but that's about as far as I've gotten so far.

My hardware specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1270 V2
RAM: 16GB
RaidController: M1015 Flashed in IT Mode

Which configuration do you need? i attached the nic settings of the vm.
I mean an bhyve vm created in freenas.

Networking works fine (Shares are accessable).
In the VM i cannot get an IP, i think i have no network interface in the vm available.

I have this same issue. I created a Windows Server 2016 VM and it boots and can ping the interface ip of Freenas fine and its self but not anything beyond the interface.

Setup is a HP DL380G7 connected to a Cisco 3750 via 4x 1Gb in LACP trunk with a native vlan of 10.
lagg0 interface has an IP and is on vlan10 and can talk to everything for all jails, internet etc
I also have a vlan20 as an interface which is what I attached the VM nic to.

I have had a working FreeNAS since the 9.4 days > 11.0U4 > 11.1 Everything works fine except for this network part.

i installed a fresh new vm with ubuntu 16.04 now networking works well on the newest freenas version.. the old vm still get no network.. even no network device..
