Would post the error, but it's in console and cannot copy/paste here, and these forums are pretty old school. Would insert a picture, but it has to be on an accessible URL so cannot upload a screen cap.

It's a runtime error stopping the left nav from rendering.

site.py line 231 shows client.py lines 7, 89, 26, 237 aren't getting variables like __enter__ or __init__

Anyway, this whole release is now unstable as multiple plugins won't migrate (you have to kill them and reinstall) and constantly getting errors like this that stop GUI users from doing basic tasks. Since I don't go to command line, and those using Freenas shouldn't have to, this puts me in a sour mood toward this software.

What? Images can be trivially uploaded by pasting them into messages.

As for your problem, it's quite weird. RC3's GUI is working fine here. Run the validate install tool to make sure everything is where it should be. Also, clear the browser cache (not that it should matter, if what you're saying is correct).

Also, you can try the new GUI to reboot or simply press the power button to initiate an ACPI shutdown.

Of course you can. What do you think the "upload a file" button does? Or you can, as @Ericloewe says, simply paste the image into your post (using Firefox, at least).

As you note in the thread subject, it's an RC, not a release. If you think you've found a bug, report it. bugs.freenas.org.

Edit: Or better yet, report it using the Support button in your GUI--that will attach a debug file to the bug, giving the devs a lot more information about your environment.
