Hi all,
I have setup Transmission to download the torrents in the Incomplete directory on a dataset. After completion it moves the files in the Download directory on the same dataset. However, the move is not instantaneous, it's quite slow and transmission times out during it.
Mount points for both directories setup like this:
/mnt/Down/downWindows/Download <> /mnt/Streaming/iocage/jails/transmission/root/usr/local/etc/transmission/home/Downloads
/mnt/Down/downWindows/Download/Incomplete <> /mnt/Streaming/iocage/jails/transmission/root/media/incomplete
downWindows dataset is also used as SMB share to mount the folders in Windows.
Any ideas why that could happen? I thought movement of files within the same Data set should be almost instant.
