No Additional Drives detected - HP Proliant DL 360 G7

I'm very new to using TrueNas or anything similiar and Im having some trouble getting hard drives to be recognized by the system.
The OS is running on an ssd in bay 1 and there is 1 additional drive in bay 2.

Any other drives I place into any other bays are not shown under Storage > Disks. I have tried probably 10 different drives, so I'm assuming maybe I need to format or something. The monitor screen shows that drives are plugged in / out when moved. And the HD lights turn on but then off.

The hardware is a HP Proliant DL 360 G7. This may be a very simple question so I apologize for my greenness.
